All I Want For Christmas Is …

It’s almost that time again. Santa’s coming! By now I’m sure many of you have already created you’re holiday wish list even if it’s not a physical list, you probably have it in your head at least. I’ve had my wish list for months now here are the things that I would loveee for someone to get me for Christmas. (Yipeeee)
1.

Leica D-LUX 4 Camera.
It is not a DSLR but from all of the reviews I’ve read it takes great pictures, as long as you play with the different settings. Also, I think it will be a nice transition from my old faithful point and shoot, and then to the DSLR that I will purchase in the future.
2.

Macbook Pro. Seriously who doesn’t have a macbook already? I don’t! This should actually be number one on my list, I have so many reasons it’s ridiculous. The main reason I NEED a macbook pro is because the other day I stepped on my HP mini and kind of broke the screen. I didn’t think anything of it because I’ve stepped on it before ( I know,I know) but this time was different. It still works, as I am using it right now, but there’s a black stripe down the middle that makes text appear white on a black background, and images look like they’re in
some kind of night vision mode. It’s wicked annoying might I add. So, I have always been a mac-lover so I might as well just get the pro and be happy.
3.

MAC Lipstick(s)
Viva Glam V is my current fave, t’s the perfect nude lip. On the contrary I definitely need to “brighten up my life” and stray from the safe nude lip. Some of the colors I need to add to my collection are Viva Glam Gaga, Lady Danger, Go For It, Girl About Town, and Velvet Teddy. They are all gorgeous colors, check them out!
4. Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb perfume. I think it’s important to always smell wonderful. From the moment my nose came into contact with Flowerbomb’s beautiful aroma I immediately fell in love. I have the small bottle and the rollerball, but I definitely need the HUGE bottle, and a few of them at that !
5.

Samsung Vibrant. Ever since my iPhone broke, i’ve been using my t-mobile blackberry curve, and boy do I hate it! I feel so limited to what I can do, I miss my apps, and I especially miss the touch screen. The keys on my blackberry are soo loud and they actually hurt my fingers. The Samsung Vibrant is no iPhone, but it’ll get the job done until I go back to AT&T.
6. Last but not least, if you really want to make me happy just politely give me an american express giftcard and i’ll love you forever. I also accept gifts in the form of cash. SMOOCHES!
So what’s on your list this year? Some people have lost their christmas spirit because there hasn’t been any snowfall, but clearly I haven’t? Put a list together and hit the mall. Shopping is therapy ladies!
My Lovely Weekend
Hi everyone,
So I thought that I wouldn’t be getting anything from the Tartan Tale collection but it turns out that I purchased something after all. I went to the mall today to pick up a few things and of course I stopped at the MAC counter. I went to purchase Viva Glam V, and the sale associate reminded me that there was a lip bag in TT collection with the lipstick & lipgloss! So I ended up purchasing the Tis Noble To Give lipbag set. It came with Viva Glam V lipstick, lipglass, and a cute tartan bag.
After MAC my next stop was to Bobbi Brown where I picked up the foundation stick. My color is Warm Almond 6.5. It goes on so smoothly and the color matches my skin perfectly. The stick is medium-full coverage and is perfect for all skin types.
Lastly I went to Sephora and purchased the Evian Mineral Water Spray Duo To Go. The twin pack was only $12, and the bottles are small travel size so you can toss them in your purse and bring them with you!
I also got a synthetic foundation brush.

A Few Things I Picked Up …
Whenever I don’t go out to the mall or any shopping center, I end up
simply shopping online. Online shopping is a therapy for me, but in my efforts to save money, it doesn’t really help. But as I am always looking for a bargain, ALDO has a lovely sale right now. I only ordered two items, and because it was free shipping it was all the better. Here’s what I got:

Paynes Tote $27.98

Mignogna Wedges $59.98
*These are actually from last season but they’re still beautiful, and the Jeffrey Campbell ones are about three times the prices.

THE BEST BRUSH CLEANER EVER
.. so maybe not the BEST EVER, but it’s pretty good. Palmer’s Olive Oil formula smoothing Shampoo. Just wash your brushes the normal way using this shampoo, it will clean them soo well. Better than baby shampoo and all of the other secret recipes. It leaves my brushes soft and clean. Try it out you will love it. You can get it at your local drugstores for 4-6 bucks!
Wishlish . . .

Jeffrey Campbell never ceases to amaze me, these shoes are everything (a la rachel zoe.) I feel like I already have enough black pumps but none as beautiful as these. They’re also pretty affordable at $118, get these JC Jezabel Black Leather Corset heels at Lulu’s!
A Tartan Tale Holiday Collection
Finally, it is here, Mac Cosmetics A Tartan Tale holiday collection. I was so excited for this collection to finally be available, but there are so many different products i’m still not sure what I want. I’ve read so many wonderful reviews, but still I am undecided.
Initially I wanted to get one of the brush sets. 5o bucks for 3-5 brushes sounds like a good deal coming from MAC, but rumor has it that the quality just is not the same. Same with the eyeshadow palettes. The swatches that i’ve seen are not as pigmented as we would expect.
Heres my wishlish:
- My Highland Honey Blush
- Reelers & Rockers eyeshadow palette
- The Faerie Glen Lipstick
- Lightly Prancing dazzleglass creme
- Black Swan Pearglide intense eyeliner
So, decisions, decisions, are you guys going to pass on this Tartan Tale? If not what will you/did you pick up?
smooches
